IGNITED IN COMPASSION & ROOTED IN HEALING
Payment Policies & Fees
Payment is due at the time of services rendered unless you and your therapist have discussed another arrangement prior to the start of your session. Payment can be made via credit/debit card, HSA/FSA card, check, or cash.
Individual Session
$150 per 60 minute-session
Reduced Fees
In order to increase the accessibility of mental health services, I provide a limited number of reduced-fee slots. If you are interested in a reduced-fee slot, please send me an email to inquire about current availability.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance at this time, and I am not "in-network” with any insurance providers. Although I do not file insurance claims on a client's behalf, I do provide "superbills" (itemized receipts) that a client can submit to their insurance company for potential reimbursement. Whether or not you would be reimbursed for out-of-network sessions depends entirely upon your particular insurance plan and benefits. To determine how much your insurance will reimburse for out of network services, please contact your health insurance provider directly.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
-
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
-
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
-
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
-
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
