Lili Allen, LPC
(she/her)
I am a licensed professional counselor in South Carolina (LPC #10319). I specialize in helping clients heal from trauma & difficult life experiences related to childhood attachment wounds, oppressive systems, gender identity and more.
The identities that I hold that mean the most to me and inform my work as a therapist are my being a Queer, fat, neurodivergent woman. On a personal level, I have experienced the power of EMDR, parts work and somatic therapy in working through my own complex trauma with a certified EMDR therapist. I am beyond grateful to be able to hold this same space for my clients, no matter their intersecting identities. I am committed to a lifetime of growth as a clinician, and most importantly, as a human.
I am an EMDR Certified Therapist through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), which means I am credentialed beyond the required 50 hours of EMDR basic training, and I completed an additional 20 hours of consultation with an EMDR Consultant. Making sure I provide the most effective care to clients is important to me. I continue to invest in both individual and group EMDR consultation.

"Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity."
- Pema Chödrön

More about Lili
Outside of my therapy practice, I enjoy spending time with my spouse and our menagerie of rescue animals. We have yet to succeed at fostering, and as a result, we have two cats (Nova & Moon) and three dogs (Winnie, Salem & River). They certainly keep us busy! I love being able to witness their little nervous systems settle after having such an uncertain start in life.
Speaking of nervous system regulation - I also enjoy painting, boardgames, jigsaw puzzles, embroidery, spending time in nature, naps, listening to audiobooks, reclaiming my body through tattoos, ASMR and yin yoga.

Parker Berdon, LPC-A
(they/them)
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in South Carolina (LPC-A #11097). I specialize in queer identity, reparenting, parts work, and neurodivergence.
The identities that I hold that mean the most to me and inform my work as a therapist include being non-binary, a lesbian, fat, and neurodivergent. I previously worked with teenagers as a high school teacher, and I am passionate about helping those who are neurodivergent, queer, and/or marginalized in and out of the counseling room. I got into this work because I want to be the kind of person that the nervous, confused, queer person like myself needed when I was a child, and I want to be that for others, as well.
To schedule a free, 20-minute consultation with Parker, please email them directly at parker@emberwillowtherapy.com

"It's beautiful how queer and trans people connect with our inner child and how we find purpose outside the cisheteropatriarchal, capitalist structures."
- Eva Bloom
More about Parker
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and business partner, Lili, and our rescue animals. We have two cats (Nova & Moon) and three dogs (Winnie, Salem & River). Nothing is better than when we all get to spend time together.
I enjoy playing games, reading books, writing stories, baking bread and desserts, and going to the beach. More commonly, I can be found binge-watching some of my favorite TV shows.
